Description:
The Model MP4 is a magnetically based X, Y, Z manipulator designed specifically for micropressure micropipette insertion. This manipulator is compactly designed with all the movement controls coming out the rear of the unit. This feature allows the positioning of several manipulators in close proximity to one another so the investigator may use several pipettes in the same microscopic field. The pipette holding clamp is made to move in an arc from horizontal to 60° of vertical. This allows the user to position the micropipette for easy insertion while not bothering the normal vertical movement. The Z axis movement has been geared for easy pipette positioning. We are also able to supply a lead weighted iron base for use on any non-metallic surface.
